Within this site, there are two large soilautoclaves, gowth chambers, mist chambers, controlled-temperature cabinets, and an elutriator for nematode extraction.

A greenhouse manager is assigned half-time to the facility. Faculty, staff, and students cooperate to keep the facility functioning efficiently.

Main labs and offices of the Department are located on the fourth and fifth floors of Hutchison Hall. Also located in Hutchison Hall are the Department of Plant Pathology and the Department of Microbiology.

The Nematology Library is located in Hutchison Hall and is an important resource because it receives the primary nematology journals and many classic reprints that are difficult to obtain elsewhere. The Department of Plant Pathology Library is on the third floor of Hutchison Hall, and receives the primary plant pathology journals.

The Department of Nematology office is clustered with the office of the Department of Plant Pathology, located in rooms 350-354 Hutchison Hall. The two departments are currently collaborating on a "paperless office," and have made tremendous strides in this direction through the successful implementation of a local area network that links the faculty computers of the two departments with the office staff.

The Departments of Nematology and Plant Pathology both maintain Student Computer Labs equipped with PC and MAC computers, with printers and scanners also available for use.
