The Haven's New Garden Coordinator

 

Hearing a queen bee piping is music to her ears.  So is the shimmering sound of the harp.  

Meet Samantha Murray, the newly selected garden coordinator of the UC Davis Bee Haven, a pollinator and demonstration garden installed in the fall of 2009 by the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology (ENT). Although undergoing restoration since last summer, The Haven continues to be open to the public from dawn to dusk. 

UC Davis Bee Haven to Celebrate 15th Anniversary

The UC Davis Bee Haven will celebrate its 15th anniversary with an open house from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 6.

The half-acre garden,  a project of the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology, is located next to the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Research Facility on Bee Biology Road, west of the central campus.
