Plant breeder, geneticist and nematologist Bao-Lam Huynh of UC Riverside will speak on "Genetic Analysis and Marker-Assisted Breeding for Host Plant Resistance to Root-Knot Nematodes and other Stresses in Cowpea" at the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology (ENT) seminar on Wednesday, May 20.

UC Riverside Researcher to Discuss Mosquito Transcriptomics

 

Assistant professor Karthikeyan Chandrasegaran of the UC Riverside Department of Entomology will speak on "Network-Based Inferences in Mosquito Transcriptomics" at a seminar hosted by the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology on Wednesday, April 29.

Postdoctoral scholar and mosquito ecologist Benjamin Nyman of the UC Riverside Department of Entomology will speak on "Ecological Explorations in the Mosquito Surveillance Landscape" at a seminar hosted by the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology at 12:10 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18 in 122 Briggs Hall.

The Tiny Terrors Targeting Chicken Health

 

Veterinary entomologist Amy Murillo, an assistant professor in the UC Riverside Department of Entomology, will discuss "Tiny Terrors: How Ectoparasites Undermine Chicken Health and Productivity" at the next UC Davis Entomology and Nematology seminar.
